Defensive specialists Lauren Mathewson and Lauren Rosenthal had key numbers against the Jayhawks, as freshman Mathewson notched a career-high four aces. Rosenthal dished out a near-season high of 14 digs, falling short of her mark from Baylor by one.
Senior Stacey Spiegelberg put together a 54-assist effort on the night, while tallying six kills and six digs. Sophomore Kelsey Chipman finished with nine kills, one service ace and K-State’s lone solo block of the night.
