Werner provided the Wildcats with a lift off the bench with 10 kills on a .269 hitting percentage. With the performance, the
Junior setter Stacey Spiegelberg tallied her team-leading ninth double-double this season with 43 assists and 10 digs.
Texas A&M (11-12, 4-11) was led by Sarah Ammerman and Christi Hahn with 17 and 13 kills, respectively. Hahn tallied a .414 hitting percentage and also registered four blocks.
For the afternoon, the two teams registered 56 kills each, however, the Aggies hit .275 to K-State’s .172. The Wildcats carded 53 digs to Texas A&M’s 49 and the Aggies pieced together nine total blocks, while K-State mustered 6.5.
