2002 Volleyball Broadcast Schedule

Manhattan, Kan. - Catch all the excitement of Kansas State women's volleyball on KMAN radio all season long. KMAN covers 15 Kansas State women's volleyball matches beginning with the home opener against state rival Wichita State on Tuesday, September 3, beginning at 7 p.m. The network will also carry all NCAA Tournament action should the team make it.
For the fourth year in a row, Brian Smoller will serve as the Voice of Wildcat Volleyball. Smoller serves as the Sports Director at Manhattan Broadcasting Company. He also can be heard on KMAN and k-statesports.com on K-State baseball broadcasts, along with Manhattan and area high school football and basketball.
A 1999 Kansas State graduate, Smoller has won nine Kansas Association of Broadcasters awards, including three first place awards for play-by-play. In 2000, he was awarded second place by KAB for his play-by-play of K-State volleyball.
KMAN broadcasts can be heard on both the AM dial at 1350 and the internet at both the KMAN website (www.1350kman.com) and the official site of Kansas State athletics, www.k-statesports.com.
Matches usually start 20 minutes prior to first serve with the pre-game show or are joined in progress when matches follow K-State football broadcasts.
