MANHATTAN, Kan. – The annual Purple/White Volleyball Scrimmage and Media Day has been moved to Saturday at Ahearn Field House. The scrimmage is set for 7 p.m. and will now be part of a day filled with opportunities to see the Wildcats in action in two sports.
Starting at 5 p.m. fans can see the Kansas State Wildcats prepare for the 2010 football season at the annual Fan Appreciation Day from Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Fans will have to opportunity to watch an open football practice for the first time during training camp. Fans can then head over to Ahearn Field House for the Purple/White Scrimmage to see the volleyball team in a game day setting as the team prepares for its season opening tournament at Hawaii next week.
Media Day will begin at 5:15 p.m. at Ahearn Field House on the court. Members of the media wishing to conduct interviews with volleyball players and coaches should contact Assistant Sports Information Director David Wiechmann with their requests.
