MANHATTAN, Kan. – With volleyball season five weeks away, K-State Athletics officials have announced that chairback season tickets are sold out for the 2012 campaign. Since installing the purple chairback seats prior to the 2010 season, the chairback section has sold out every year.

In addition to the chairback section, fans have responded with enthusiasm for the 2012 campaign. K-State fans have purchased more than 100 season tickets beyond the number sold at this point prior to the 2011 season.

Season tickets remain on sale with General Admission bench seats available to all fans for only $30 each when purchasing four or more season tickets. Individual General Admission bench tickets are just $50 for adults and $40 for youth, senior citizens, military and faculty/staff. Cat Cushion balcony seating is $65 for adults and just $55 for youth, senior citizens, faculty/staff and military. Season tickets will remain available through August and can be purchase through the K-State Athletic Ticket Office by phone at 800-221-CATS, in-person at the Bramlage Coliseum Ticket Office between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or online at kstatesports.com/tickets.

The 2012 season will feature 15 home matches at newly renovated Ahearn Field House. The schedule opens with a home tournament. The schedule also includes three Wildcat Weekends that are sure to bring excitement with fans able to catch the Wildcats in action at Ahearn Field House and Bill Snyder Family Stadium on the same day.

K-State ranked 24th in the nation in attendance in 2011 thanks to the Wildcat faithful packing Ahearn with more than 1,500 fans per contest. With the team returning nearly every contributor from last year’s historic season, there is much anticipation surrounding the program as the Wildcats look to return to the NCAA Tournament.
