MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State volleyball coach Suzie Fritz has added a one-day sand volleyball clinic to her summer camp schedule. The one-day camp will be offered on July 9 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Chester Peters Recreation Center for athletes in grades 7-12.
“With sand volleyball gaining momentum as an NCAA emerging sport, there will be more opportunities in the future for athletes that are interested in the sand game,” Fritz said. “This will be a fun and exciting experience for athletes at the camp to gain an introduction and exposure to the outdoor game.”
In case of inclement weather, the camp will be moved to July 10. Cost of the sand volleyball camp is $55. It is open to boys and girls with limited spots available. The camp will also include tournament play during the three hours of instruction.
