MANHATTAN, Kan. - Sophomores Hayley McIver and Paulina Castillejos just missed beating the ITA Regional Doubles Champions today in their second pool play match of the day at the Wildcat Doubles Invitational at the Cottonwood Racquet Club in Manhattan.

McIver and Castillejos lead most of the match and were up 7-6 on Missouri's Urska Juric and Katka Sevcikova, before the Tigers broke Castillejos serve to make it 8-7. MSU then served for the win.

In the other two pool matches, Iowa State's Edna Vazquez and Courtney Leese beat Oklahoma State Erin Pauchnik and Kateryna Vasylyeva, 8-5. Colorado's Lia Dimingo and Dominique Lemperle defeated ISU's Tara Goedjen and Kristin Gyaki, 8-2.
