MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State sophomore Paulina Castillejos advanced to the second round of The Omni Hotels Regional Championships at the Tulsa Southern Tennis Club, today with a two set victory.

Castillejos, the No. 7 seed beat Ashley Dille of Northern Arizona, 6-1, 6-3. The victory improves the Pueblo, Mexico native's fall record to 2-3. Castillejos plays Paige Brown of Kansas in the second round. Brown won her first match, 6-1, 6-3.

Sophomore Hayley McIver lost her first round match to Erin Pauchnick of Oklahoma State, 4-6, 6-3, 3-6. McIver was the No. 3 seed and now has a fall record of 3-2.
