BLOOMINGTON, Ind. Kansas State concluded action at the Hoosier Classic with a dominating Sunday effort in doubles play, finishing the day with a perfect 4-0 record. For the weekend, Kansas State finished 6-2 in all doubles matches.
The tandem of Antea Huljev and Viviana Yrureta defeated two doubles teams from Western Michigan during play at the IU Tennis Center. Huljev/Yrureta captured the win with a 8-4 decision over Moccia/Saruta. In the second match against Western Michigan, the K-State duo again won 8-4 over Dudzik/Matsuto.
The second doubles grouping of Katerina Kudlackova and Natasha Vieira outlasted Klockenga/Young of Iowa 8-6, but quickly dispatched of Graetz/Minor of Illinois, 8-2.
K-State will have this week off, before making its second trip to Tulsa, Okla., for the ITA Central Regional on Oct. 17-21.
