WACO, Texas Due to the threat of severe weather on Friday, April 28, the Big 12 Conference has announced a schedule change for the 2006 Men's and Women's Tennis Championships. 

Five of the matches will commence at 8:30 a.m., with three beginning at Noon. 

Kansas State was already scheduled to play against Texas A&M in the quarterfinals at 8:30 a.m. so no adjustment for time must be made. There will, however, be an adjustment in the way the matches are played.

All nine courts at the Baylor Tennis Center will be utilized, while six courts will be used at the nearby Streich Tennis Courts.  Singles matches will be contested first, followed by doubles (if necessary).  The order of singles will be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Only the matches on Friday are affected by the change - Saturday and Sunday matches will remain as scheduled at this time.
