MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State women's tennis will close out the 2010 regular season this weekend with a pair of home matches at the Wamego Recreation Complex. The Wildcats will host No. 2 Baylor on Saturday at 12 p.m., and will welcome in No. 70 Texas Tech on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Sunday's match against the Lady Raiders will be Senior Day for K-State, as the Wildcats will honor senior Natasha Vieira before the match. The product of Carabobo, Venezuela, owns a career singles record of 37-70 and is 7-9 this season. The 2010 team captain owns a career doubles mark of 42-52 and is 7-9 this season. Vieira is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 first team recipient majoring in business administration.

K-State (6-11, 3-6 Big 12) will look to secure its third and fourth home victories this season, as the Wildcats conclude the 2010 campaign in the midst of the longest homestand since the 2007 season. If the Wildcats secure one win this weekend, it will mark the most wins in Big 12 play since the 2006 season and will be the highest home win total in conference play since the 2006 season.

Baylor (21-2, 9-0 Big 12) will visit the Sunflower State with four players ranked among the ITA Top-125, including No. 5 Lenka Broosova and No. 18 Nina Secerbegovic. The Lady Bears own a 14-3 lead in the series with K-State, with the Wildcats' last win over Baylor coming on March 18, 2000 in Manhattan.

After a 4-3 setback at Nebraska on April 9, Texas Tech (9-10, 4-5 Big 12) has achieved a three-match win streak, including a 5-2 triumph over Missouri in the Lady Raiders' regular season home finale on Sunday. K-State owns an 11-9 edge in the series with Texas Tech, but the Lady Raiders have won three straight.

Following this weekend's action, Kansas State will travel to Austin, Texas for the 2010 Big 12 Women's Tennis Championships on April 29-May 2.
