THREE TIMES THE CHARM
The Kansas State women’s tennis team (4-8, 0-4) returns to Big 12 Conference play this week, hosting a trio of top league opponents in 50th-ranked Missouri on March 31, 17th-ranked Oklahoma on April 3 and Iowa State on April 4. The Wildcats, still searching for their first league win of the season, will play all dual matches this week at the Washburn Tennis Facility. If weather permits outdoor play, matches will be moved indoors to Ahearn Field House.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Missouri (9-8, 2-5) makes a return to Manhattan, after having played in the KSU Invitational on Jan. 23-25. Like Kansas State, the Tigers fell to No. 13 Fresno State on March 21 (0-7) and No. 29 Oregon (2-5) on March 23 in Fresno, Calif. Although senior Urska Juric was forced to forfeit her singles match against the Bulldogs due to a knee injury, she was back and ready to play against Oregon, where she teamed up with teammate Katka Sevcikova to defeat UO's Daria Panova and Davina Mendiburu, 8-3. Junior Hana Kraftova took home Missouri's only singles win against the Ducks, with a victory over Mendiburu, 6-2, 6-0, at No. 3 singles. She leads the team in singles victories this season with a record of 10-4.
ROSENBERG-JURIC PART II
K-State’s Maria Rosenberg will matchup vs. Missouri’s top ace, Urska Juric, for the second time this season. Rosenberg last used a 7-6, 7-6 (4) rally to upend the then No. 30-ranked Juric in the top singles flight championship match of the KSU Invitational on Jan. 25. It marked the junior’s first match victory against a nationally-ranked opponent this year.
A LOOK AT THE ALL-TIME SERIES
Kansas State holds an all-time winning record of 18-4 against the Tigers, with a perfect 9-0 record when playing Mizzou in Manhattan.

Up next, the Wildcats host OU and ISU to round out their three-match homestand this week. K-State will have one more remaining home match vs. Baylor on April 11 and three remaining road matches heading into the Big 12 Conference Tournament on April 29-May 2.
