Bietau Wins No. 200 as Wildcats Cruise
The win was a dominating effort by the Wildcats, as
“I’m obviously happy that I got that far that I have survived that long. I’m glad to still be standing and trying to add to the list. I’m thankful for all the players that have helped do that,” Bietau said. “I’m a lot more happy about the way my team played today than I am about which win it was for me.”
Fernanda Da Valle won her fourth consecutive doubles match after teaming with Tereza Prochazokova at No. 3 doubles to top Jackie Richey and Torrie Browning, 8-2. Tamar Kvaratskhelia and Maria Perevoschikova followed with a win at No. 2 and Jessica Simosa and Katerina Kudlackova won at No. 1 to give
Tamar Kvaratskhelia escaped with the highest profile win at No. 1 singles, handing No. 47 Madina Rakhim her first loss of the season in both singles and doubles. Rakhim was 6-0 in both prior to Saturday’s match.
