Kansas State falls to No. 20 Brigham Young, 6-1
K-State’s lone singles win came from Olga Klimova at No. 6 singles. Klimova, who tore a knee ligament against BYU in 2005 and was lost for the season, outlasted Jennifer Miccoli, 4-6, 7-5, 1-0 (12-10).
Klimova and Fernanda Da Valle earned the only doubles win at the No. 3 spot, defeating Lauren Jones and Dolly Chang.

“With the exception of Olga’s match, we couldn’t do anything to stop them,”
The Wildcats (2-2, 0-1) won the doubles point in a 7-0 defeat of Drake to open the season but have lost the point in the last three matches.
“We did some good things in doubles,” Bietau said despite the loss. “We made improvements at all three positions.”
Brigham Young started the season 5-0 but lost three straight matches to teams in the top 10 before beating the Wildcats on Saturday.
