MANHATTAN, Kan.- Kansas State will race in the Head of the Iowa Regatta, in Iowa City, Iowa, on Sunday, Oct. 26. The varsity eight boats will compete in K-State's final race of the regatta at 2:35 p.m. Prior to that, the varsity four is scheduled to race at 9:55 a.m. followed by novice fours at 10:50 a.m. and novice eights at 1:20 p.m.
"The challenge on this course is that the opportunity for passing other crews is limited, so the coxswains have to really gauge where and when they are going to make their moves," said Kansas State head coach Jenny Hale.
