MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State women's rowing team has cancelled the intrasquad race at Tuttle Creek Lake, on Saturday, Oct. 12, because of expected bad weather.

The event was to be open to the public, but because of the weather forecast for Saturday morning, rowing officials decided to cancel the event. The winds are expected to be from the north at 20 mph with the chance of rain.

The Wildcats will next be in action at the Head of the Charles in Boston, Mass., on Oct. 19-20.
