Wildcats Open Strong at Longhorn Invite
MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State rowing debuted with a strong showing in the first day of racing at the Longhorn Invitational. Crowning the Wildcats' victories was the 1V8+'s win over Duke. K-State's boat got off with a quick start, jumping to a two-seat lead. While both crews rowed well over a strong middle 1,000 meters, the Wildcats increased their lead to half a boat length.
