The Varsity 8+ boat of Brandy Sherwood, Sam Allen, Josie McClellan, Katie Baxter, Amy Herrmann, Kelli White, Katy Bockelman, Carissa Land and Glenna Yokum placed second with a time of 16:30, to beat the University of Iowa B boat by one second.
