HENLEY, England-Competing for the first time internationally in school history, the Kansas State varsity and novice women's rowing teams won two races at the 2003 Henley Women's Regatta in Henley, England. (more)

Rowing program shows academic success
Senior varsity rower Alyssa Adams has been named a National Scholar-Athlete by the 2003 College Rowing Coaches Association, highlighting another successful academic year for the program. The program also achieved a cumlative 3.0445 GPA this semester. Along with an outstanding overall student-athlete GPA, four student-athletes attained 4.0 GPAs this spring semester, including freshman Stephanie Black, senior Katy Bockelman, sophomore Linzi Hauldren, and senior Carissa Land. Jenny Hale Resigns as Kansas State Rowing Coach
Jenny Hale has resigned her position as head coach of the Kansas State rowing program to pursue other interests, director of athletics Tim Weiser announced Thursday. The only varsity women's rowing coach in school history, Hale recently completed her seventh season at the helm of Wildcat rowing and in that time laid a foundation for the future of the program at K-State. Varsity Eight Captures C-Final, Seventh Place in Central Region
Kansas State's varsity eight won the C-final race Sunday morning on Melton Hill Lake, finishing in 6:41.9 to better Cincinnati by 1.8 seconds. The regional team titles were claimed by Ohio State in the Central region with 76 points and Virginia in the South region with 70. (more)

Second Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Four Advance to Petite Finals
After a rough Saturday morning on Melton Hill Lake and between thunderstorms, Kansas State managed to advance two boats, the second varsity eight and second varsity four, to the petite finals. (more)
