Wildcats Strong As Darkness Halts Second Round
The Wildcats shot a first-round 309 on the par 72, 5,933-yard Oak Point Golf Course, just one stroke behind leader
“I think they should have a tremendous amount of confidence and pride going into tomorrow,” head coach Kristi Knight said. “They had to scrape, fight and battle for everything. It was very tough today. The golf course is playing tough, but I feel like my team is hanging in there. They’re in good position and tomorrow is a new day. They should be proud of their effort.”
