Wildcats Head to Price's Give?em Five

LEADERSHIP: K-State’s freshmen were the story early on in the year, but experience is starting to show. Juniors Morgan Moon and Abbi Sunner now lead the roster in strokes per round, both are averaging 79.00. The Wildcats will now look for the newcomers to keep pace with the veterans.
2006 Price’s Inv.: After taking a year off from the Price’s Give’em Five, K-State returns to NMSU. In 2006 the Wildcats finished 11th of 17 at the Price’s Invitational. K-State’s top finisher in the tournament was then-junior Kali Quick, who finished in a tie for 13th place. All five competitors in this years Price’s Give’em Five will be new to the tournament.
THE HOST NMSU Golf Course: The NMSU women’s golf program will host 16 schools in the Price’s Give’em Five Collegaite. NMSU’s golf couse is a par 72 and measures 6,319 yards. The course is known for its narrow fairways and difficult roughs.
