Rain Ends Marilynn Smith/Sunflower After 36 Holes

Senior Kali Quick played consistently on Monday, shooting a pair of 1-over par 73s. The senior from
Abbi Sunner finished in a tie for 17th with an 8-over par 152. Sunner fired a pair of 76s and was able to earn her second top-20 finish this season and the fifth of her career.
Michelle Regan and Hailey Mireles both carded rounds of 10-over par 154 to finish in a tie for 23rd. Regan shot a 6-over 78 on her first 18 holes and improved that by two strokes on her final 18. Mireles shot a season-best 72 on her opening round, beating out her 76 at the Chip-N-Club Invitational, before posting an 82 to end the day. The 23rd-place finish is her best of the young season.
Freshman Elise Houtz, playing as an individual, shot rounds of 79 and 77 for a 12-over par finish of 156 in her first tournament of the year. She finished tied for 28th-place.
Krista Nelson, playing as an individual, fired an 18-over par 162 and tied for 53rd. Morgan Moon tied for 60th after posting a score of 20-over par 164.
