MANHATTAN, Kan. The Kansas State Athletic Department and the women’s golf team welcome all fans and students to watch the team in the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational at Colbert Hills, Sept. 28 and 29. The event, which is the only home competition of the year for the women’s golf team, will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start both days.

The first 25 students to check in at the Fan Experience table near the clubhouse on Monday will earn a free round of golf on the par-3 course that same day. Tee times will start at 2 p.m. Students who participate will have the opportunity to win prizes for contests on certain holes, while there will also be a free gift for the first 25 students.

Parking and entrance to the event is free to the public.
