Regan paces Wildcats at Badger Invitational
VERONA, Wis. Junior Michelle Regan finished strong on the first day of the Badger Invitational with rounds of 75 and 71 to finish the day in first place overall.
The Wildcats finished the day in seventh place overall with rounds of 323 and 309. Every member of the team was able to post lower marks in second round of play, giving the team some momentum heading into the final round.
"I was first and foremost surprised by the girls' attitude," said Head Coach Kristi Knight. "Michelle (Regan) played well, Kali (Quick) had some good holes and some that jumped up and got her. I am just really proud of their effort and attitude. They learned from their mistakes and moved forward."
Senior Helene Robert improved her play in the second round today and finished the day tied for 21st place with rounds of 81 and 79.
Junior Hailey Mireles finished the day tied for 31st place after posting rounds of 83 and 79.
