Lincoln, Neb. - First-round play of the NCAA Women's Central Regional at Firethorn Golf Club has been postponed until Friday. Heavy rain fell overnight in the Lincoln area and continued through mid-day.

The tournament will resume on Friday with a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m. Tournament officials have scheduled 36 holes of continuous play for Friday to get the regional back on schedule for Saturday's third and final round.

Hole assignments and pairings for Friday's play will be available later Thursday afternoon. Check Huskers.com for Friday's pairings.
