ST. GEORGE, Utah - Junior Carly Ragains sits at a tie for fourth place overall after two rounds to lead the Kansas State women's golf team to a 63-over par 639 on Monday during the first and second rounds of the BYU Entrada Classic at the par-72, 6,015-yard Snow Canyon Country Club.

Ragains fired a 4-over par 76 in the second round, the third-best score of round two, to move up 15 positions. She collected three birdies on the day, including one on the second-hardest hole of the day, the par-5, 490-yard No. 16.

Also sitting in the top-10 is senior Gianna Misenhelter with a 13-over 157. The Overland Park, Kan., native fired the eighth-best score in round one before dropping a spot in round two. Like Ragains, Misenhelter birded three holes on the day, including the challenging 16th hole.

"Carly (Ragains) and Gianna (Misenhelter) played very well all day," head coach Kristi Knight said. "Although the windy conditions were tough, they maintained their focus and performed well."

Junior Olivia Eliasson carded two birdies on the day to finish at 18-over 162 en route to a tie for 36th place. Sophomore Scotland Preston rounded out the scoring lineup for the Wildcats with a 30-over 174.

The Wildcats sit in seventh place, 20 strokes behind first-place team Wisconsin, which is led by first-place individual Alexis Nelson at 1-over par 145.
