Wildcats in 13th after one round of ?Mo?Morial
Four-time “Mo”Morial champion and host school Texas A&M leads the pack after shooting an opening-round score of 306. The top-ranked team in the tournament,
UTEP’s Jullianne Kim sits atop the individual leaderboard after shooting even-par 72. The first-place Aggies have three student-athletes in the top 10 Ashley Knoll tied for second, Lauren Johnson tied for fifth, and Brenda Norris tied for ninth.
Other Wildcats competing include sophomore Kali Quick who, coming off of an eleventh-place finish, is tied for 49th after shooting a 10-over 82. Katy Heffel and Hailey Mireles finished round one with scores of 85 and 90, respectively. True-freshman Krista Nelson is competing as in individual for the Wildcats and finished the day with a score of 93.
