Sunner Finishes Second at Baja Classic
ENSENADA, Mex. The Kansas State women’s golf team shot opening day rounds of 326 and 316 in the first action of the spring season to finish the day tied for 11th. Due to inclement weather the third round never happened and the Wildcats did not have a chance to improve their position in the team standings.

Other Wildcats among the tournament field, junior Michelle Regan carded rounds of 77-77154 (+10) to finish tied for 15th and claim her eighth career top-20 finish. Senior Katy Heffel shot an opening day 81-80161 (+17) to tie for 41st place. Junior Hailey Mireles carded rounds of 84-78162 (+18) to finish tied for 47th.
