Lawrence, Kan. - The opening two rounds of the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational Women's Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, were postponed due to steady rainfall. The two-day, 54-hole tournament at the Alvamar Golf Club has been reduced to 18 holes of play.

The one and only round of play will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (CST) Tuesday.

The 18 participating teams include Evansville, Cincinnati, Youngstown State, James Madison, College of Charleston, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Eastern Michigan, K-State, Missouri-Kansas City, Creighton, Bradley, Wichita State, Texas Pan-American, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Iowa State and Kansas.
