Manhattan, Kan. - The second round of the Big 12 Women's Golf Championship, which was suspended Saturday due to rain and lightning, was completed Sunday morning. The 54-hole tournament, being played at Colbert Hills Golf Course in Manhattan, Kan., is scheduled to conclude Sunday evening.

Third round play on the par-72, 6,008-yard course began at 8:30 a.m. (CDT), with the final group of the day teeing off at 11:40 a.m.

Oklahoma State, which shot a second-round 302, saw its first-round lead shrink from 13 to eight strokes. The Cowgirls, who are the defending Big 12 Champions, posted a 19-over-par 595 over the first 36 holes. The best score of the second round was turned in by Oklahoma which shot a 297 and is at 603.

Baylor (608), Texas (611) and Kansas State (621) round out the top five.

The top five individuals, meanwhile, are separated by only four strokes entering the final 18 holes.

OSU's Emma Zackrisson held onto her first-round lead, but teammate Christi Cano closed the gap to one stroke with a second-round 73. Zackrisson, who shot a 3-under 69 Friday, carded a 75 and is at 144.

McKenzie Dyslin of Texas A&M fired a 71 and is at 146. Christine Boucher of Kansas State, who was also 1-under in the second round, is fourth at 147. Kristin Dufour of Texas is fifth at 148 after her second-round 71.

Melanie Hagewood of Baylor posted the best round of the day with a 3-under 69 thanks to a double eagle on the par-5, 478-yard No. 4 hole.
