K-State women in eighth place at the Susie Maxwell Classic

Norman, Okla. - The Kansas State women's golf team is in eighth place after the first two rounds of the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic played at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Course. The Wildcats carded scores of 325-318-643. Host Oklahoma leads the field by 21 strokes, shooting rounds of 301-303-604.
Junior Christine Boucher is the low individual so far for the Wildcats. She shot rounds of 75-80-155 to tie for eighth place with Megan Hull of Texas Tech and Oklahoma's Allison Johnson. Texas Tech's Kim Kolb is the leader among individuals, carding a 149.
Senior Miranda Smith is tied for 23rd place, with scores of 83-78-161. Junior Karen Quintelier is in a seven-way tie for 33rd place, shooting rounds of 83- 80-163. Sophomore Sarah Heffel finished the day tied for 40th place. She recorded rounds of 84-80-164.
In her third tournament of the fall, sophomore Stephanie Limoges is tied for 60th place. She carded scores of 86-83-169. Senior Elise Carpentier, who played as an individual, tied for 72nd, scoring a 173 (87-86).
