Women's Golf Leads After 36 Holes at Mountain View Collegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. - Powered by Christine Boucher's two-round total of 3-over par 147, the Kansas State women's golf team will take a three-stoke lead into Sunday's third and final round of the Mountain View Collegiate at the par-72, 5,984-yard Mountain View Golf Course. The Wildcats, who are coming off a strong fourth-place finish earlier in the week in Hawaii, sat atop the leaderboard following both of Saturday's first two rounds. K-State shot a combined 299 during the opening 18 holes, before capping the day with a score of 290 during the second round for a total team score of 13-over par 589. Boucher, who carded a 4-over 76 in the morning session, came back to post the afternoon round's top round, firing a 1-under 71. The third and final round of the Mountain View Collegiate begins Sunday at 8:00 a.m. MST.
