Name: Lindsey Morford Year: Senior Years on the team: 4 Discipline: English Hometown: Major: Animal Science Communications with an Equine Science Certificate Riding Background (before college): Some, but not a lot. I started out as a Walk/Trot rider on the team. Why I chose K-State: I have always wanted to go to K-State...my parents both attended here. Record/Accomplishments as a Wildcat: 3rd place IHSA Regional Show (Zone 9, Region 2), 2006 My favorite part about being a student-athlete: How our coaches and other athletic department staff work. Favorite part about being on the team: Riding horses, working out, and hanging out with my awesome teammates. Favorite An interesting pre-show ritual I have is: The night before a show, I stay up and watch a movie while I polish my boots. The CD in my CD player right now is (or what I’m listening to on my ipod): “Cacing the Giants” soundtrack The last book I read was: the Bible and The Fuel and Flame Favorite TV show: “Hogan’s Heroes” Plans after graduation: Not sure...maybe write for a horse or sports magazine, do something with horse breeding, or maybe do something with The Navigators or Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
