Kansas State ended the day with 37 points, and those points proved to be enough to capture High Point Team honors. Northern Illinois finished as the Reserve High Point Team of the day after tallying up 30 points. In addition to Kansas State's success as a team, senior Allison Woodworth was named High Point Rider after finishing first in Open Over Fences B and Open Flat A. Overall, Kansas State dominated the show with nine first place finishes. The other riders who claimed first place finishes in their respective classes are: sophomore Elizabeth Dick in Walk/Trot A, sophomore Gentry Horigan in Intermediate Flat, freshman Lindsey Morford in Walk/Trot B, senior Natalie Poholsky in Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter B, senior Olivia Law in Novice Flat C, junior Megan Montgomery in Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter D, and sophomore Erin Bodlack in Walk/Trot C.

“We had a lot of riders win their classes today,” head coach Teresa Slough said. “They were focused, they did what they had to do and it worked out well for us.”

The Wildcats return to action tommorrow for the second and last day of competition at the Northern Illinois show.
