Equestrian Inks Colorado Rider
July 18, 2002 MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State equestrian head coach Lindsay Breidenthal announced Thursday that Lindsey Hicks of Colorado Springs, Colo., has signed a national letter of intent to ride at Kansas State in 2002-2003. Hicks, both an English and Western rider from Pine Creek High School, was the overall Colorado State Champion in English and Western in 2000. She was among the Rocky Mountain Quarter Horse Top 10 from 1999 to 2001 and received the El Paso County 4-H Year End Achievement Award the last eight years. Hicks was also the overall high point rider at the Pikes Peak Open Show. |
