Wildcats Conclude 2004 Season at IHSA Nationals


 

 
 

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Kansas State western equestrian team concluded competition at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Championships on Sunday. The event concluded the 2004 season for the equestrian team.

 

            Junior Erin Peery was the lone rider in Sunday’s competition for the Wildcats, finishing in fourth-place in open reining horsemanship. She concludes her 2004 season as the most decorated rider on the western team. Peery tallied 10 first-place finishes during the regular season and three times captured High Point Rider honors. Overall, she finished seventh in AQHA High Point Rider phase.

 

            Kansas State finished the 2004 season with 36 individual first-place finishes and three first-place team finishes.
