MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State Sports Properties is proud to announce the start of the 2011-12 edition of “The Deb Patterson Radio Show” on Thursday, Nov. 10. For the second straight season, the program will air live from Old Chicago, which is located in the Manhattan Town Center at the intersection of Third Street and Poyntz Avenue.
“The Deb Patterson Radio Show,” a live call-in show hosted by the play-by-play voice of K-State women’s basketball, Brian Smoller, will air at 7 p.m., on Thursday nights on the K-State Sports Network. Fans may call into the show with a question for Patterson at 1-866-577-8228.
Dates for the 2011-12 edition of “The Deb Patterson Radio Show” are: Nov. 10, Nov. 17, Dec. 15, Jan. 5, Jan. 12, Jan. 19, Jan. 26, Feb. 2, Feb. 9, Feb. 16, Feb. 23 and March 1.
Patterson returns to the sidelines for her 16th season with a roster consisting of eight letterwinners and four starters from the 12th NCAA Tournament squad in school history. The Wildcats registered an overall record of 21-11 and a 10-6 mark in Big 12 action which resulted in a tie for third in the league. During the 2010-11 season, K-State became the 13th program in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history to reach the 800-win plateau.
K-State will play its final exhibition game this season on Tuesday, as the Wildcats host Washburn at 7 p.m. K-State opens the 2011-12 regular season on Saturday, Nov. 12 against Dartmouth.
