MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State athletics officials announced on Sunday the game time for the women’s basketball season-opener against Dartmouth on Saturday, Nov. 12. The Wildcats will tip-off their 44th season of action against the Big Green in Bramlage Coliseum at 8 p.m., following the K-State football game against Texas A&M.
K-State is offering “Wildcat Weekend” ticket promotion for the game against Dartmouth. Fans can purchase general admission tickets for only $3 each when showing a ticket from either the football game against Texas A&M or the men’s basketball game against Charleston Southern on Friday, Nov. 11.
Parking priority at the K-State sports complex for fans attending the football and women’s basketball games will be given to those holding football parking passes, athletics officials said.
The east and west parking lots adjacent to Bill Snyder Family Stadium and Bramlage Coliseum are reserved for donors to the Ahearn Scholarship Fund. Fans holding football parking passes will be admitted into those lots and allowed to park in their reserved or VIP space as is the normal custom for a football game when the lots open at 9:30 a.m. and remain in those spaces for the basketball game.
Once outbound traffic from the football game is clear, the parking lots will be opened to fans attending the basketball game on a first-come, first-serve basis. There will be no charge for parking for those attending the basketball game.
Prices for women’s basketball single game tickets this season are: $5 for general admission youth, $8 general admission adult, $9 for bench seating and $12 for chairback. Season tickets remain available, including the Wildcat 4-Pack season ticket package of four general admission tickets for $200. To purchase tickets, fans can contact the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 221-CATS or visit www.kstatesports.com/tickets.
