The No. 3 seed Kansas State women's basketball team will make its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 1996-97 when it tips off with No. 14 seed Kent State at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15. The Wildcat game will follow the No. 6 seed Arkansas vs. No. 11 seed Clemson game slated for a 6 p.m. tipoff. The second game will begin 30 minutes following the end of the first game.
Approximately 5,000 all-session tickets have been sold for the Mideast Regional games being held at Bramlage Coliseum. The Kansas State Athletic Ticket Office sold approximately 3,000 all-session tickets following the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. The K-State Ticket Office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Fans can also reach the ticket office by calling 1-800-221-CATS.
NCAA SECURITY MEASURES
Security requirements for the NCAA Tournament this week at Bramlage Coliseum will be at a higher standard than most Kansas State fans are accustomed to during the regular season.
Fans cannot bring in outside food or drink, glass bottles, cans, thermos jugs, coolers, ice chests, banners (except hand held signs), horns of any kind, bangers or artificial noisemakers, laser pointers, backpacks or fanny packs into Bramlage Coliseum.
Everyone and everything will be subject to searches. All seats are reserved and tickets will be checked for authenticity and proper seating location.
Fans attending the NCAA Mideast First and Second Rounds at Bramlage Coliseum will be charged $3 for parking.
Fans are invited to attend the free and open practices for the four participating teams on Thursday, March 14 at Bramlage Coliseum. The following is a schedule for the open practices:
Noon-1:00 p.m. Arkansas
1:05-2:05 p.m. Clemson
2:10-3:10 p.m. Kansas State
3:15-4:15 p.m. Kent State
