MANHATTAN, Kan. - With the Kansas State women's basketball's "Pack the House" game on Saturday nearing a sellout, K-State Athletics officials announced on Wednesday the location of the final group of tickets.
The remaining 2,300 tickets for Saturday night's game are located in reserved bench seating and Cat Cushion seating sections. All K-State women's basketball fans can purchase tickets and select concession items for just a $1 during "Pack the House" night when the Wildcats open the second half of the Big 12 schedule against defending league champion and No. 1 ranked Baylor on Saturday at 7 p.m. Fans are encouraged to order tickets in advance. To purchase tickets, please contact the K-State Athletic Ticket Office at (800) 221-CATS or visit www.kstatesports.com.
In addition to tickets being $1, designated concession items will be sold for just $1, including: nachos, pretzels, popcorn and select candy, which will be available at all of the main concession stands on the Bramlage concourse.
The women's game against Baylor follows the men's contest against Texas A&M which tips off at 3 p.m. Due to the quick turnaround between the two games, parking for the women's game will be free and the lots at the KSU Sports Complex will open at approximately 6 p.m., once exiting traffic from the men's game has cleared. Doors to Bramlage Coliseum open at 6 p.m. Fans holding tickets to both games will be asked to leave the arena after the men's game and re-enter with their ticket for the women's game.
At halftime of the women's game, fans will be entertained by the Zooperstars!, a traveling halftime inflatable mascot act performing more than 200 shows a year and will rock the house with routines that fans of all ages will love. Fans can visit www.zooperstars.com for more information.
Kansas State will be looking to defend its Big 12 title in the NCAA "Pack the House" initiative, as the Wildcats captured the 2011 crown. K-State hosted 9,024 fans on Jan. 9, 2011 against Oklahoma State, a 63-45 win over the Cowgirls in the Big 12 home opener for the Wildcats.
