Cats Look to Continue Success at NMSU
MANHATTAN, Kan. The Kansas State men’s golf team looks to place in the top five for the fifth consecutive tournament as the Wildcats compete in the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, Monday, October 27, and Tuesday, October 28. The event will tee off with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. (PT) on Monday for the first 36 holes. The third and final round will also be a shotgun start Tuesday at 8 a.m. (PT).
LOOK AT THE FIELD: The field contains 18 teams from across the country including Big 12 foes, LAST TIME OUT: The Wildcats finished second at the Santa Clara Invitational. Kansas State, who placed four of its five team competitors in the top 10, carded a team score of 3-over 287 in the final round to finish with a 54-hole score of 6-over 858.
