K-State Sends Three to Kansas City
MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Kansas State men's golf team will send three individuals to compete at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate in Kansas City, Mo. The event tees off at 8:30 a.m. (CT) with a shotgun start on both Monday, October 19, and Tuesday, October 20, at Blue Hill Country Club.
UMKC will host the 2009 Bill Ross Intercollegiate for the first time since the 2006 season. The 2009 version is the first time in the history of the event that the tournament hasn't been contested at Oakwood Country Club. The Blue Hill Country Club is an 18-hole par 72, 7,351-yard course. The Bill Ross Intercollegiate will field 13 teams as Central Arkansas, Creighton, Kansas, UMKC, Nebraska, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Wichita State will be competing.
