MANDEVILLE, La. - Just as the Kansas State men’s golf team was about to begin its second tournament of the spring, severe weather swept into the area overnight and through the morning hours to cancel play at the 15th annual Beau Chene Collegiate Classic.

The Beau Chene Collegiate Classic, which was originally scheduled to be 54 holes, had already been reduced to 36 holes late last week and now will not be played at all.
