MANHATTAN, Kan. - Each week throughout the 2013 season, k-statesports.com will highlight former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.

Arthur Brown, LB - Baltimore Ravens
A second-round draft pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, Arthur Brown made his professional debut Thursday in the Ravens' 49-27 loss at Denver. Brown played in third-and-long situations and on special teams but did not record any statistics.

Bryce Brown, RB - Philadelphia Eagles
A seventh-round pick in 2012, Brown helped Philadelphia secure a 33-27 win Monday night at division rival Washington. Brown carried nine times for 25 yards as a change-of-pace running back to complement starter LeSean McCoy.

Jeromey Clary, OL - San Diego Chargers
A seventh-year offensive lineman, Clary played in his 89th career game for San Diego - the team that drafted him in the sixth round in 2006 - including his 79th career start in the Chargers' 31-28 defeat to Houston Monday night.

Josh Freeman, QB - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Freeman, the fifth-year starting quarterback for Tampa Bay, threw for 210 yards on 15-of-31 aim with a touchdown and an interception in the Buccaneers' 18-17 loss at the New York Jets. His first touchdown of the year came in the first quarter when he connected with Mike Williams on a 17-yard strike.

Chris Harper, WR - San Francisco 49ers
Harper, who was selected by Seattle in the 2013 NFL Draft and later signed by San Francisco off the Seahawks' practice squad, was inactive for the 49ers season-opening 34-28 win over Green Bay.

Rob Jackson, LB - Washington Redskins
A fifth-year linebacker, Jackson will not play in the first four games of the season for the Redskins due to a suspension. Washington fell at home Monday night to Philadelphia, 33-27.

Emmanuel Lamur, LB - Cincinnati Bengals
An undrafted rookie free agent in 2012, Lamur was placed on injured reserve by Cincinnati prior to the 2013 campaign. The Bengals fell at Chicago, 24-21, on Sunday.

Jeron Mastrud, TE - Oakland Raiders
A fourth-year tight end who is in his first season with Oakland, Mastrud started for the Raiders and hauled in a 41-yard reception in a 21-17 loss at Indianapolis.

Jordy Nelson, WR - Green Bay Packers
Nelson led Green Bay in receiving in its 34-28 season-opening loss at San Francisco on Sunday. The sixth-year pro hauled in seven receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown as he now has 23 receiving touchdowns since the 2011 season, the most of any wide receiver in the NFL during that span. His score came on an eight-yard pass from Aaron Rodgers in the third quarter to tie the game at 21-21.

Terence Newman, CB - Cincinnati Bengals
An 11-year NFL veteran who is in his second season with Cincinnati, Newman started at cornerback and came away with five tackles, including one for a loss, in the Bengals' 24-21 defeat at Chicago on Sunday.

Darren Sproles, RB/Returner - New Orleans Saints
Sproles, beginning his ninth NFL season, was a major contributor in the Saints' 23-17 home victory over division rival Atlanta on Sunday. The running back totaled 140 all-purpose yards, including a team leading 88 receiving yards on six receptions. He also rushed eight times for 22 yards, returned four punts for seven yards and one kickoff for 23 yards.

Daniel Thomas, RB - Miami Dolphins
A third-year running back for Miami, Thomas rushed eight times for 14 yards with one touchdown in Miami's 23-10 season-opening victory at Cleveland.

Justin Tuggle, LB - Houston Texans
An undrafted rookie free agent for Houston, Tuggle played in the Texans' 31-28 comeback victory at San Diego Monday night but did not record any statistics.

Reggie Walker, LB - San Diego Chargers
Walker, a fifth-year pro who is in his first season with the Chargers, played in San Diego's 31-28 setback Monday night against Houston, but he did not record any statistics.
