2001 (Junior) - Played in seven games on the defensive line, including four starts at left end... One of three players to start at least one game at defensive end on the season... Earned starts in the first three games then again vs. Louisiana Tech (11/17)... Totaled 14 total tackles, including eight solo stops... Led the team with 12 QBHs... Tied for third on the team with two sacks and fourth with seven TFLs... Registered a team-high six QBHs in the opener against USC (9/8) to go with a pair of TFLs... Turned in a season-best five tackles against New Mexico State (9/22), including his first sack of the year... Also added three QBHs and two PBUs in the win over the Aggies... Had a sack of four yards at Nebraska (11/10)... Picked up a pair of QBHs and two tackles against Louisiana Tech... Blocked a field-goal attempt in the season finale against Missouri (11/24) to go with three tackles.

Mehlville HS - Final high-school season was 1996... Originally signed with K-State in 1997 but did not start school until spring semester of 1998... First team All-Big 12 Region pick by PrepStar... Earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior... Was an All-Metro pick and first-team All-State pick by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as a senior... Listed as one of the top 10 recruits in the St. Louis area by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch... Had 78 solo tackles, 16 quarterback sacks, three fumble recoveries, five fumbles caused and three interceptions as a senior... On offense, had 18 receptions for 400 yards and eight touchdowns in 1996... As a junior, had 116 tackles (68 solo) and 11 QB sacks... Caught nine TD passes as a junior tight end... Lettered three times each in football and basketball...

Finished high school career as the Mehlville basketball career scoring leader... Helped Mehlville to state semifinals in 1994 and 1996... As one of the top basketball players in St. Louis, averaged 19.2 points and 10.8 rebounds as a junior.
