Drew Papuchis is in his second year at Kansas State and serving as a graduate assistant working with defensive coordinator Tom Hayes and the Wildcat defenders. He ran the offensive scout team as he helped the Wildcats turn a 2-4 start into an eight-win season that ended with a victory in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.

Prior to coming to Manhattan, Papuchis worked at Ohio University under the direction of Frank Solich. During his four-year undergraduate stint, Papuchis assisted in all areas pertaining to daily operations and team preparation. After obtaining his degree in Sports Science with a double minor in business and marketing, Papuchis was hired as a Defensive Graduate Assistant in which he was responsible for the outside linebackers, ran the scout special teams as well as the scout offense.

Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Papuchis comes from a coaching family as his father was a long-time high school football coach and his brother, John, is the defensive coordinator at Nebraska.
