Pullen To Appear on ESPN2's First Take
MANHATTAN, Kan. - Junior guard Jacob Pullen will be a guest on ESPN2's First Take on Tuesday morning at 10:15 a.m. CT.
A popular ESPN show, "ESPN's First Take" runs from 9 to 11 a.m. daily on ESPN2 and discusses all the latest news in the world of sports. It is co-hosted by Jay Crawford and Dana Jacobsen.
Pullen has helped guide the fifth-ranked Wildcats to 24-4 overall record and an 11-3 mark in Big 12 after posting their seventh straight Big 12 win on Saturday night against Missouri. The 24 overall wins and the 11 conference victories are the most in the Big 12 era and the most since the 1987-88 squad posted a 25-9 overall record and an 11-3 mark in Big Eight play. The 24 wins tie for the fourth-most in school history.
A Top 30 candidate for the Naismith Player of the Year award, Pullen is the team's leading scorer at 18.5 points per game on 41.8 percent shooting and has scored in double figures in all 28 games this season. He leads the squad in 3-point field goals (78), free throws (149) and free throw percentage (81.0) and steals (46). He moved to No. 9 all-time on K-State's all-time scoring chart against Missouri with 11 points. He also ranks among the school's career Top 10 in minutes played (2,662), double-digit scoring (67), field goals attempted (1,021), 3-point field goals (193), 3-point field goals attempted (555), assists (320) and steals (140)
No. 5/5 Kansas State returns to action on Wednesday night, as the Wildcats travel to Lawrence, Kan., to face archrival Kansas (27-2, 13-1 Big 12) at 7 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on the Big 12 Network.
