Kansas State Head Coach Bruce Weber
On today’s game...
“Today was a good win for us. Obviously any win is good, but to win by that margin surprised us a little bit. Tulane has made some improvements since the beginning of the season. They have three very talented guards, but we challenged our guys to be locked in like they were against Gonzaga last week.”

“We are slowly but surely getting a little better offensively. We made a few shots today. We have been consistent on defense since the beginning of the season, but we have not been a good rebounding team. Today we did a better job.”

On Kansas State’s defense...
“We play team defense. We have a system and our kids have bought into it. Perhaps the most impressive thing is we played four freshmen today. Usually the thing they struggle with is defense, but those guys are locked in and have done a pretty good job of helping us be a good defensive team.”

On playing at Barclays Center...
“It is great to play in this beautiful arena. We came here last night for the Nets game. We’ve talked about coming back next year.”

On the performance of guard Shane Southwell...
“Shane is one of our smartest players. Whether it’s a roll and replace, pick and pop, or open shots, he is going to get baskets. He is starting to make shots, which is positive.  If he is making shots, I think we can be competitive in our league”
