The Junior Wildcat Camp offers specialized coaching in the areas of pitching, defensive fundamentals, hitting mechanics, bunting and base running techniques from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Your development as a player and understanding of the game will improve through individual instruction, drill progression and exciting competitions. Campers will learn numerous drills from the K-State coaching staff and current players that they can take home with them to improve their game as well as competing in game situations. Campers will be separated and placed into similar age groups to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all ages.

2012 Junior Wildcat Game Camp

The Junior Wildcat Game Camps is a great opportunity for young players to improve their overall baseball skills. Campers will spend the morning receiving specialized coaching in the areas of pitching, defensive fundamentals, hitting mechanics, bunting and base running from 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. In the afternoon, campers will be separated into similar age groups to play live games while learning game situations with current Wildcat players and coaches. BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH.

K-STATE DISCOUNT: Any KSU employee will receive a $10 discount off the total price of one session of camp for their son. To take advantage of this, you must contact Rob Vaughn at rvaughn@kstatesports.com. DO NOT register online for the discount.

2012 SUMMER TEAM CAMPS
June 14-17, 2012
July 12-15, 2012
18 & Under Teams

-- Price: $650 per team

-- Camp games will be run Thursday through Sunday.

-- All games will be played at Tointon Family Stadium.

-- Games times Thursday – Saturday will be 10:30 am, 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm, and 6:00 pm.

-- Games times Sunday will be 9:00 am, 11:15 am 1:30 pm, and 3:45 pm.

-- 2 Pools of 4 teams during the first 3 days. Sunday will be Championship Day, matching the seeds from each pool.

-- 7 inning games with a four game guarantee.

-- Entry fee is $650 per team.

-- Each team needs to bring one dozen baseballs.

-- All possible arrangements will be made with respect to rain and all fees will be non-refundable.

-- Camp is open to all entrants limited only by age, gender, and number.


2012 Summer Select Camps
Dates: July 30-31 or August 6-7
-- Price: $200 for commuters, $230 for residents

The Select Camp is a two day camp that allows players to get feedback from the K-State coaching staff and other coaches on their baseball skills. Players will go through an extensive evaluation that is run just like a professional tryout camp. In addition, each camper will be evaluated in live games and game situations. The Select Camp will also cover hitting and fundamentals of pitching and special sessions with K-State strength coach Ben Fleming and academic counselor Jamie Hamor.

The price is $200 for commuters, which includes a t-shirt, dinner on day one, lunch on day two and evaluation. The price for residents is $230, which includes a t-shirt, dorm room, dinner on day one, breakfast and lunch on day two and evaluation. Registration is held on July 30 and August 6. Residents must first register at Haymarker Hall at 1:00 pm before checking in for camp at Frank Myers Field.
