MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State head baseball coach Brad Hill, the all-time winningest coach in Central Missouri history, will be inducted into the UCM Hall of Fame on Saturday during a ceremony at the Elliott Union Ballroom on the Warrensburg campus.

Hill will join nine other individuals who will be inducted into the hall, while he is the only recipient in the coaching category of the 2009 class. Hill’s 2003 national championship team will join the Hall of Fame as well.

Hill posted a 418-91 overall record while at Central Missouri, including the 2003 Division II National Championship. He won eight MIAA titles in nine seasons and was named the conference coach of the year seven times. Hill was also the NCAA Region Coach of the Year seven times and won National Coach of the Year in 2003. He led his teams to seven regional titles and finished in the top five at the Division II World Series on six occasions.

Following the national championship run in 2003, Hill left Central Missouri to become the coach at K-State, where his Wildcats will begin the 2009 season on Friday, February 20, at Houston.
